For our second exhibition we are delighted to be featuring the work of two local artists, using completely different mediums. Hayley Ditchburn is in her 2nd year at Falmouth University, studying for a BA in Fine Art. She specializes in painting and portraiture, with an enduring fascination for reading facial expressions. Her pictures here are inspired from photography, capturing those fleeting moments of insight caught by the camera.
Alongside Hayley we have Ross Sanderson, who is in his 3rd year at Falmouth University, studying for a BA in Photography. His work is centered within areas of the Cornish landscape subjected to human activity. His pictures reflect man’s intervention with the environment and the effects this has in radically altering and transforming the topography of the land.
